We're back from Puerto Rico!

We had a great trip to visit Ryan's parents and grandparents and then to Puerto Rico for vacation! We're back and of course we're sick again :( Oh well, c'est la vie! Here are some brief highlights from the trip!

Gone Fishin'

Here's Odin's first fishing expedition. A great time was had by all! Ryan was there too but somehow we didn't get a single photo with him in it??? Oh well. Odin got to fish with his Sponge Bob fishing pole, play with the worms, and wander all over the boat.




When we got home, Odin fried up the fish we caught.

Perfect Baby!!!!!

I'm SO relieved!!!!! Odin's baby brother or sister is just PERFECT! They looked at everything you could look at and said everything looks great and that most of the complications they saw at our last ultrasound were probably in response to me having had the flu! YAY!!!! I had to keep myself from finding out the sex again but I did it! It was SO tempting though! I didn't realize just how worried I really was this last week and a half but once I found out everything was fine, I felt like a HUGE weight had been lifted from my shoulders and my energy just bounced back. I've been feeling so tired and worn out and I now realize it was the stress. I'm SO relieved...I just can't say it enough. I'm glad my parents have been here to distract me but I just haven't been myself while I've been stressing and I'm so glad to get back to my happy old self! Vacation, here we come!

The things they say...

Here are a few of Odin's latest funny conversations...

One day, I got Odin some mini-donuts. I told him he could have another Dough-nut when he got in his carseat. He was muttering something the entire time I was buckling him in and I finally realized he was saying, "More Play-dough. More Play-dough." I love seeing how their minds work!

The other day, I cleaned the Master Bedroom. I stepped back to admire how nice it looked and Odin came and stood next to me and said, "Better." I looked down in surprise and said, "You think it looks better?" and he responded, "Yup!"

We were having breakfast with my parents this morning at a restaurant. I put a package of wipes on the table to clean up the highchair, etc. and Odin pointed at them and said, "Soap...Odin's butt" and he pointed to his butt. Perfect breakfast conversation ;)

Ultrasound Follow-up

So...we are DEFINITELY NOT going to find out the sex of Odin's little sister or brother. That's Ryan's decision. All concerns/complaints should be directed to him. :) The doctor saw some things in the ultrasound that didn't look perfect so we're having a follow up super-duper ultrasound on Friday the 9th so please think good thoughts for us and we'll keep you all posted. We're trying not to think about it. Could be something, could be nothing. All I can do is drink lots of water and think positive thoughts and rub my belly a lot.
