He currently resides with his Mommy, Daddy, dog, Honey, cat, Grasshopper, and fish tank of un-named fish in Santa Cruz, California where he enjoys long walks along the ocean, daily visits with Daddy to the greenhouse in the backyard, and being social with Mommy and his friends. Odin will be getting a sibling at the beginning of October and he's really excited!

Odin

Chance, Mason, & Odin

Cousin Bella & Cousin Francesca stopped by to trick-or-treat too!

Happy Halloween!

Odin & I hit a Halloween party a few days ago and then went downtown to trick-or-treat with his friends today!

Odin & I also had a spooky play session with our Halloween couple!

Welcome back Monarchs!

The Monarchs come here for the winter to breed :) We get HUNDREDS that go to the same park every year down at the beach where we got married and they hang from the trees like groups of grapes!

Odin's Halloween Costume

Some of the pix we took didn't come out because it was too dark, etc. but there will be more to come after Halloween. This is just a preview :)

Thing 1 (Chance) & Thing 2 (Odin)

The Cat in the Hat & Thing 1

This video takes a while to get going and is really dark but once the two of them start to boogie, they'll have you in stitches!!!! And yes, when Odin crouches down, he is doing the handjive. I have no idea where he got that from!

I want a horse!

Since Odin is the most spoiled baby on Earth, we got him a horse ;)
First, he tells you what it is...

Next, he tries to figure out how to turn it on...

Then, he decides that he should dance along!

Playdate

Hi all!
Here are a few photos of Odin and his friend Chance. Yes, the Harley belongs to Chance but luckily, he let Odin ride it ;) More photos of these two to come...wait till you see their Halloween costumes...the suspense is going to kill you! We went to this Halloween dance tonight for the non-profit that I work with and the boys dressed up...I'll post some photos as soon as I get them! It was just TOO CUTE!

Our little pumpkin...

Visit from Uncle Rob!

"Uncle" Rob came to visit! He's a friend of Odin's mom & dad from the days when they used to be young and "wild!" So, in honor of the good old days, we took Odin wine tasting. He sampled the crackers at each winery and thought the vintage crackers shaped like hearts at the David Bruce winery were the best.
Here are the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains where the wineries are scattered...

Back from Jackson!

Sooooooo...we're back! Very happy to be home. Grandpa's house is fabulous but Odin and I both came down with the flu as did Grammie and Uncle Adam's girlfriend, Jess. (http://babyodin.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html) Anyways, that was tough...I think the worst part was nursing little Odin through it...it was SO sad. It was also really hard to try to tell him that he couldn't eat a bunch later...it was just awful. On a good note though, Odin and Grandpa had a wonderful quality time day together while Mommie and Grammie fought the flu. It was really cute and the two of them had a grand time! Odin was thoroughly engrossed by all of the construction equipment that was outside while they graded the front yard and driveway. He just couldn't get enough. He saw all of the cows and horses at the bottom of Grandpa's hill and kept asking for "more." He also went out for a fancy dinner and was a perfect angel followed by a session of serious dancing to the piano player/singer at the bar. I never laughed so hard in my life. I don't know how the singer managed to sing her whole song despite this adorable little guy dancing his heart out right next to her!

Odin as a cowpoke...enjoying the Fall Aspen leaves.

Odin & Mommie (Yes, that is a big arbor made of antlers behind us...they were gathered with no harm to any animals...the Elk on the reserve drop their antlers every year)

The valley below Grandpa's house that is a cattle range preservation land.

The yellow Aspens on the road up to Grandpa's house.

Grandpa's view from the side of the house.

Grandpa's house from the top of the hill he's on.

Pull up a chair, the show's great!

Buffalo Riding

Sorry for the wierd grouping of pix of Grandpa's house...was going to take better ones before I came down with the flu and then all my plans went out the window!
