Back from Jackson!
Sooooooo...we're back! Very happy to be home. Grandpa's house is fabulous but Odin and I both came down with the flu as did Grammie and Uncle Adam's girlfriend, Jess. (http://babyodin.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html) Anyways, that was tough...I think the worst part was nursing little Odin through it...it was SO sad. It was also really hard to try to tell him that he couldn't eat a bunch later...it was just awful. On a good note though, Odin and Grandpa had a wonderful quality time day together while Mommie and Grammie fought the flu. It was really cute and the two of them had a grand time! Odin was thoroughly engrossed by all of the construction equipment that was outside while they graded the front yard and driveway. He just couldn't get enough. He saw all of the cows and horses at the bottom of Grandpa's hill and kept asking for "more." He also went out for a fancy dinner and was a perfect angel followed by a session of serious dancing to the piano player/singer at the bar. I never laughed so hard in my life. I don't know how the singer managed to sing her whole song despite this adorable little guy dancing his heart out right next to her!
Odin as a cowpoke...enjoying the Fall Aspen leaves.
Odin & Mommie (Yes, that is a big arbor made of antlers behind us...they were gathered with no harm to any animals...the Elk on the reserve drop their antlers every year)
The valley below Grandpa's house that is a cattle range preservation land.
The yellow Aspens on the road up to Grandpa's house.
